  2007 01 09 017.JPG - A little fuzzy ... but the best photo we have of the octopus we found on Champagne Reef. The first octopus we have had a chance to watch "up close" was a real treat, and an education for us all.It was amazing watching him wrapping his tentacles around the rocks and "walking" his way across the reef, changing colours to camouflage, swimming (like in this photo), and even suddenly "puffing" himself up to look really big and flashing bright purpley-white in warning when Nick got a little TOO close! (I've never seen Nick move so fast ... I guess it worked!).
